Life on Beautiful Amelia Island, FL

It is truly paradise on earth, although I am afraid the secret is out now. I moved up here from Jacksonville 20 years ago to become an assistant golf professional and was surrounded by beauty wherever I turned. The Ritz Carlton... on the beach... on a golf course... does it get any better than that? However, as is the case sometimes, I didn't really appreciate what I was around while I was around it. Now that I have a day consumed by long commutes and work and school that sometimes lasts over 15 hours - I miss it dearly.
